TaleaTalea

Software for accounting firms

Your firm already uses A3 or Sage. We are not here to replace them: we are here so you stop typing into them. Talea collects the invoices from your inbox, turns them into journal entries in seconds, matches them against the bank and reminds you of every deadline.

  • Compatible with A3
  • Compatible with Sage Despachos Connected
  • 15 secon average to process an invoice
  • 90%less time typing and checking invoices (*)
  • 21 deadlinestax and corporate, in your agenda, each with its official source
  • 4 remindersautomatic, sent to each client: 15, 7, 3 and 1 day before the deadline

*Internal estimate: about 3 minutes per invoice typing and checking by hand against about 20 seconds with Talea. Times vary with the type of invoice and the quality of the document.

The problem

The same month, closed three times

Between typing in invoices, chasing the ones that are missing and building the usual Excel file for the accounting software, the same month-end close ends up being done three times over.

  • Typing what's already in the PDF

Supplier, base amount, VAT, account… copied by hand from every invoice into the ERP, over and over.

  • Chasing missing invoices

Reminding each client what they still need to send before you can close the quarter.

  • Exporting by hand, again

Building the entries Excel or the VAT book row by row before uploading it to A3 or Sage.

How it works

Three steps, not ten

  1. / 01

    The invoice arrives

From your clients' email, without you uploading anything. Or drag the PDF or the photo: one by one, or hundreds at once. Purchase or sale, it does not matter.

  2. / 02

The AI analyzes it, you confirm what's doubtful

Supplier, tax ID, base amount, VAT and ledger account already filled in. You only review what's left pending — nothing is posted until it's verified.

  3. / 03

You export in the format you already use

Invoices, Journal entries or Chart of accounts, in the exact Excel that A3 or Sage Despachos Connected imports.

Beyond reading invoices

The whole close, not just the invoice

Reading the invoice is just the start. Talea also collects it from email, matches it against the bank and reminds you of every deadline.

Email inbox

Invoices arrive on their own. You upload nothing.

Connect the mailbox where your clients send you their invoices. Talea reads them, knows whose each one is and leaves them ready to review.

  • It recognises which client each invoice belongs to by the sender's address.
  • It reads PDFs and photos, and ignores logos and signatures that are not invoices.
  • It spots client emails waiting for an answer and prepares a draft. You review it and send it yourself, from your own mailbox.

Bank reconciliation

Every bank movement, with its invoice.

Connect your client's bank or upload their statement. Talea matches movements to invoices and you only review what is left without a match.

  • Read-only Open Banking, or a PDF, Excel or CSV statement: your choice.
  • It matches receipts and payments to sales and purchase invoices. The clear ones are reconciled on their own; the doubtful ones are left for you to review.
  • One payment for several invoices, one invoice paid in instalments, or a charge with no invoice (a fee, a rent) assigned to its ledger account.
  • It tells your client what is still unjustified, so you do not have to chase them.

Agenda and deadlines

Deadlines in sight. And your clients, reminded.

A calendar with your firm's deadlines, each date with its official source, and reminders that go out on their own to whoever has to send you the documents.

  • The usual returns (303, 130, 111, 115, 347, 390, 200…) with their date and a link to the official source.
  • Dates are checked every week against the AEAT calendar and the BOE: if a deadline changes, your agenda picks it up.
  • Your clients get reminders at 15, 7, 3 and 1 day to send you their documents, without you stepping in.
  • The 303 and the 130 tick themselves off once they are filed.

We don't ask you to change accounting software

We export in exactly the format your software expects on import — no manually rewriting what the AI already got ready.

Who it's for

Two ways to use it, one engine

Accounting firms

You keep the books for several clients

  • One firm, all its clients — each with its own date filter, currency and ledger account.
  • Export the same Excel for every client without building it by hand, client by client.
  • Give portal access to whoever asks, without wasting time explaining the Excel.
  • Every client's deadlines in one calendar, with reminders that go out on their own.

In-house finance teams

You keep the books for a single company

  • Administration and finance role: stop chasing supplier invoices by email.
  • An up-to-date P&L without waiting for month-end to know how the quarter is going.
  • The bank matched against invoices, without crossing one spreadsheet with another.

Questions

What people usually ask before trying it

Does the AI post entries on its own, without me reviewing anything?

You don't always need to review it yourself: the AI only accepts an invoice as good when it's complete and the amounts add up; the rest stays pending review. If the AI gets a field wrong, you correct it right there before it goes into any entry.

Do I have to stop using A3 or Sage?

No. We export exactly the Excel those programs expect on import — invoices, entries and chart of accounts. The way you close your books doesn't change, you just stop building it by hand.

Can I keep the books for several clients at once?

Yes. All your clients are in one place: filter by client (dates, currency and ledger account) and export the same Excel for each one without building it by hand.

What happens if an invoice isn't read properly?

It stays pending review. You open the invoice, see the document next to the form, correct the data and save. Until then it doesn't go into any entry.

How does Talea read my email? Can it see everything in the mailbox?

You connect the mailbox with its server, username and password, which are stored encrypted. For invoices it only downloads emails that match your filter or come from your clients' senders; for replies, only your clients' emails, in read-only mode. Talea does not delete or move anything in the mailbox.

What if my client cannot connect their bank?

Upload their statement as PDF, Excel or CSV and it is reconciled just the same. Open Banking is only a more convenient way to receive movements: read-only, without starting payments or seeing the bank's credentials.

Where do the tax deadlines come from?

From official sources: the AEAT taxpayer calendar and the BOE. Each date carries the link to its source and is checked every week. They are indicative: always check the official source before filing.
